Bone Rattler

I have finished yet another book. I picked this one up at the library because it was about Scots involved in the French and Indian war. This was sort of an historical mystery. It was excellent. The author writes well, with good dialogue, complex plot and fascinating characters. I loved it. I will be looking for more books by this author.

Lady Macbeth

I just finished reading this book, and I really liked it. I am partial to books about Scotland and history, and this one is interesting because I think most people only know the Lady Macbeth of Shakespeare's play. This book is about Gruadh daughter of Bodhe who became wife to Macbeth, and eventually Queen of Scotland. If you enjoy historical fiction, I recommend it.
